I have sent a document to be printed but the waiting list is empty. Why?

Answer

This can be the result of any of the following reasons:

a.       The printers - though automatically set up to all public computers - failed to load properly when you first logged in to the computer.  Sometimes it is just a matter of waiting a couple of minutes, open your file again and resend it for printing.

b.       Sometimes, the printers fail to “process” documents from Blackboard, email, or the web. To surpass this, download the file you want to print on the desktop of the library computer.  Open it from the desktop and resend it for printing.

c.       You are using someone else’s printing account.  Usually this happens on the computers, as people forget to log off and printers automatically log you off after 1 min of inactivity. If this is the case, first, make sure you log in to both the computer and the printer with the same account and then, resend the file for printing.
