To find books on a particular topic, use Discovery , the library’s single-search tool. Discovery allows you to find print books, e-books, articles, journals, videos, and other library resources. To limit the results to books, do the following:
-
Type your key terms in Discovery’s search box and hit “Enter”. You can use a specific title (in case you are searching for a specific book), an author’s name (in case you are searching for an author’s publications), subject specific terms based on your topic (in case you are interested in books related to a subject area).
-
Locate the facets/limiters on the left of the screen
-
Locate “Format”
-
Select “Book”. This way you will be able to retrieve all print and e-book, while the system excludes all other types of sources. If you are interested in print books only, select "Print Book"
-
Click on the title of your preferred book to see the book’s description and availability information
